Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Sales Development (SD) Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Development Specialists focusing on Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) markets. The Sales Development team are responsible for generating new business for LinkedIn by developing and qualifying revenue opportunities. You will be focused on building APAC corporate sales pipeline and achieving individual, team and regional quotas.
This role will be managing Outbound SDRs for Talent and Learning Solutions, executing the SD strategy and overall new business growth of the ANZ region. You will partner closely with ANZ sales leaders to deliver successful SD impact for the Acquisition business. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Acquisition Operations, SD Enablement and Talent Acquisition to develop a robust sales development strategy and drive key initiatives to achieve sales objectives.
The SD Manager will inspire, mentor and coach their team to excel in their core role, as a team and for impact on their market. High operational excellence and focus on team development are essential. You will create impact outside of your core function by demonstrating excellence in leadership, providing leverage across cross-functional teams and stakeholders and producing results to help scale effectively.

Responsibilities
- Hire, lead and inspire a team of SDRs
- Invest in their career development, mentor and coach them to perform to high standards and empower them to create impact through regular team engagement
- Anticipate team hiring needs and regularly engage with top, passive talent to ensure hiring pipeline
- Provide data-driven, open, honest and constructive feedback when it comes to skill gaps and training and execute effective performance management
- Ensure that your team have high operational excellence for business asks such as forecasting, measurement and skills training
- Ensure that your strategy is aligned with that of the broader team/business and inspire your team to deliver against it
- Inspire your team to bring to life the strategy/tactics for driving new business and achieving revenue targets and KPI’s
- Identify, implement and track KPI’s to drive the focus of your team to deliver
- Understand and articulate the overall business objectives of LinkedIn and its value proposition
- Consistently lead by example through our LinkedIn values and culture, creating awareness for team members through collective interactions
- Build a culture of inclusion and belonging for your team and those around you
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of applicable sales experience
- 2+ years of people management experience or experience mentoring/indirectly leading individual contributors
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive cross functional initiatives at scale
- Demonstrate success in overachieving quotas and targets for revenue growth
- Execution oriented to build high quality pipeline and achieve revenue targets
- Strong understanding and interest in ANZ’s economic drivers and policies
- Understanding of how global and regional macro-economics impact the ANZ business landscape
- Strong business leadership capabilities including managing senior stakeholders
- Strong people management skills with proven track record of developing talent
