Role Overview

• The .NET Back-End Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of .NET applications.
• The role involves two main activities:
• Delivering new features and handling change requests.
• Ensuring ongoing maintenance and support of existing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate effort based on functional analysis.
• Perform technical (and occasionally functional) analysis.
• Implement solutions in line with company standards and, where applicable, CENELEC norms.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Conduct unit testing based on analysis and company standards.
• Deploy solutions across multiple environments (DEV, TST, QA, ACC, PROD, EDU, etc.) following internal procedures.
• Apply Scrum principles for project management and participate in ceremonies.
• Apply Cybersecurity principles to ensure secure development.
• Collect, track, and resolve bugs in line with company standards.
• Implement and test bug fixes.
• Deploy tested bug fixes across environments (TST, ACC, PROD) following internal procedures.
• Apply Scrum principles for project management and follow-up.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, testers, architects, and functional/technical analysts.
• Propose multiple solutions, clearly outlining pros and cons.
• Provide reliable effort estimates for deliverables.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core, including:
• C#
• Entity Framework
• WebAPI (REST API)
• SQL and relational databases
• Batch jobs

Knowledge of:

• Object-Oriented programming & design patterns
• SOLID principles & dependency injection
• Caching principles
• XML, XSD, JSON
• Service bus technologies
• Transformation logic
• Unit testing
• DevOps principles
• Version control with Git
• Task management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
• Experience conducting code reviews.
