We are seeking an experienced CXL (Commissioning & Handover) Manager to join our project team in Kouvola, Finland. This key leadership role ensures all systems are tested, verified, and handed over in full compliance with design, operational, and client requirements.

Role Overview

As CXL Manager, you will oversee all activities related to the testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. You will coordinate between construction, commissioning, and client teams to ensure a structured, compliant, and safe transition from construction to live operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CXL process for all project systems (CSA, MEP, controls)
• Develop and maintain commissioning plans, schedules, and trackers in line with project milestones
• Coordinate testing and verification with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams
• Ensure documentation, certifications, and O&M manuals are complete and accurate before handover
• Chair and participate in CXL coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients
• Oversee pre-functional testing, system readiness checks, and integrated systems testing
• Ensure that all CXL activities meet safety, quality, and technical standards
• Manage issue logs, punch lists, and ensure timely resolution of defects
• Support final handover and client acceptance processes
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
• 7+ years' experience in commissioning management, preferably on data center or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and building management systems
• Experience leading cross-functional commissioning teams
• Proficient with commissioning management tools and documentation control systems
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Finnish language skills are an advantage
