Senior Data Scientist

I’m supporting a fast-growing digital consulting group looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to help deliver high-impact, end-to-end AI solutions for clients across multiple industries.

The Role

You’ll work closely with Data Engineers, Product Owners and Consulting teams to turn complex business challenges into measurable, data-driven outcomes. This role blends hands-on machine learning with strategic impact — from building production-ready models to shaping how organisations adopt AI and Generative AI technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and implement machine learning and AI models that drive real business value

• Translate business problems into structured, data-driven solutions

• Collaborate across engineering and consulting teams to deliver end-to-end AI products

• Communicate technical findings clearly and turn insights into actionable recommendations

• Bridge business and technology to ensure solutions fit client goals

• Explore and apply Generative AI and LLM advances (embeddings, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agentic workflows)

• Support innovation, automation and internal AI framework development

What You Bring

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar

• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow)

• Solid SQL experience

• Understanding of ML fundamentals: feature engineering, model training, validation, evaluation

• Interest or experience in Generative AI / LLMs

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also welcome)

• Familiarity with MLOps (MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD concepts

• Analytical, structured mindset with strong ownership

• Great communication skills and ability to explain complex topics

• Fluent English; additional languages a plus
