Introduction

You will Work with core technologies such as Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. You will be involved in and lead the design, development, deployment and maintenance of multiple cloud-native applications. You’ll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support these applications for our valued customers. You will have regular meetings and discussions with our engineers via video calls and Slack.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Breaking down complex tasks into manageable pieces
  • Writing clean, efficient code, and holding code reviews
  • Testing software thoroughly before deployment
  • Documenting the developed features &/or update existing documentation for internal reference
  • Supporting the services you develop in production environments
  • Be on pager duty during assigned days to triage/fix issues reported by internal stakeholder and customers

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years’ experience in Software Development and test automation
  • 1+ years’ experience in Cloud technologies (such as AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience in cloud api & networking software development.
  • Expert knowledge in one or more of the following languages: Golang, C, Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript
  • Familiar with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, OpenShift) and containerized services (for example, ingress controller, cert-manager)
  • Able to quickly learn new technologies and implement prototypes in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrated communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline, ensuring strong fundamentals we can rely on

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, and Travis CI at the user level
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure development
  • Experience in large systems software design and development
  • Exposure to best practices in design, development and testing of software
  • Have successfully developed production-grade services or products from concept through deployment, demonstrating architectural vision alongside hands-on coding excellence
