Azure Healthcare Data Analyst
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Contract (Onsite, 5 days per week)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Data Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and a deep understanding of healthcare data. The successful candidate will design, build, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and supporting business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
- Clean, transform, and model large datasets using Apache Spark, Python, and MS SQL.
- Perform in-depth data analysis and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards (including HIPAA).
- Collaborate with BI teams to design data models and deliver interactive dashboards using Power BI or Databricks.
- Optimize data flows for performance and scalability across Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Synapse environments.
- Document data sources, transformations, and processes for transparency and audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics or engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Services (Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Synapse).
- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
- Proficiency in MS SQL and experience with ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Background in healthcare data (EHR, clinical analytics, population health) is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Previous experience with population health, EHR systems, or clinical analytics.
