Why this job is important
As our new Qualitative Research Manager, you’ll play a key role in turning human stories into clear, commercial advice for leading brands. You’ll help us understand what’s happened, why, and how to shape the marketing strategies that drive the future. By combining modern qualitative methods with Kantar’s AI-enabled tools and validated frameworks, you’ll deliver insights that are both deeply human and technologically advanced. What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and deliver qualitative studies (in-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnography, online communities/mobile diaries)
- Moderate sessions and turn findings into sharp, senior-ready narratives
- Use Kantar’s IP and AI-assisted analysis to accelerate pattern-finding and recommendations
- Own timings, budgets, and quality; collaborate with onshore/offshore teams
- Partner with Client Partners on proposals, pricing, and growth opportunities
- Contribute to our expert community and help us grow
- Strong qualitative research skills (design, moderation, analysis, storytelling) and digital fluency
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceeding client expectations
- Resilience, flexibility, and a passion for open dialogue and curiosity
- Fluency in Norwegian and English (native level preferred)
- Experience managing projects and working with diverse teams
