You are detail-oriented, comfortable organizing information, and able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical contributors. You’re proactive, inquisitive, able to work steadily within a compact team with shifting priorities, and knowledge about AI/VR technologies such as ChatGPT and Apple’s Vision Pro.

  • Participate in requirement-gathering activities with business and technical stakeholders
  • Document business processes, workflows, and functional requirements
  • Support sprint planning, backlog creation, and refinement
  • Prepare updates, summaries, and supporting materials for internal consumption
  • Assist in the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios

  • Collaborate with developers, product leads, and operational teams to ensure alignment
  • Assist with preparing documentation and deliverables for project milestones
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by examining current processes and recommending enhancements

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business Technology Management, Information Systems, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in business analysis or related project work (academic or internship experience acceptable)
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Experience creating process flows, simple use cases, and functional specifications
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable asking clarifying questions
  • Experience with common BA tools (e.g., Visio, Miro, Lucidchart) is an asset
  • Previous experience with Federal and Provincial Research and Development subsidies are an asset.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a three (3) month hybrid (remote and onsite as needed) contract position with the potential to extend or transition to full-time based on performance; mostly remote but candidates should be able to attend onsite meetings in Mississauga during the onboarding and early project phases, as required.
