A leading global systematic trading firm with over 1,000 employees is seeking a Junior Trade Operations Engineer to help oversee its global trading activities. As a Junior Trade Operations Engineer, you will be part of the team that ensures a multi-billion-dollar automated trading operation runs flawlessly. This is not a back-office role—this is front-line engineering at the core of a world-class quantitative trading firm.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience with Python
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Solid understanding of PnL and risk reporting tools or applications
• Fast learner with strong communication skills
• Professional experience in financial services
• Trade operations/support experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support live trading operations, including real-time trade flow monitoring, risk checks, and resolving position or reconciliation discrepancies.
• Enhance and maintain the automated trading infrastructure by contributing to the codebase, implementing programmatic solutions, and coordinating software and hardware upgrades.
• Drive cross-team operational initiatives through project management, collaboration with support teams, and continuous improvement of trading workflows.
