The Role

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in network security and cloud operations. The candidate must be comfortable working with Palo Alto Firewall and VPN technologies, and possess solid knowledge of AWS networking services such as VPC, NAT Gateway, and Load Balancers. This individual thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates strong collaboration skills, and is eager to contribute to ITIL-based processes while partnering with cross-functional teams. A passion for information security, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, will ensure success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewall and GlobalProtect VPN
• Support and maintain AWS networking services (VPC, NAT Gateway, Load Balancers, etc.)
• Assist in cloud operations with emphasis on security and compliance
• Participate in ITIL-based processes (Incident, Service Request, Change, Problem Management)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient operations
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Security, or related field
• AWS Certified Practitioner or higher
• CCNA

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience with Palo Alto Firewall and VPN (GlobalProtect)
• Familiarity with AWS networking services
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes
• Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)
• Strong team collaboration, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in networking or cloud (e.g., PCNSA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner)
• Experience with endpoint protection tools and policies
• Knowledge of Zero Trust or network segmentation principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and passion for information security
• Good understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
