Akkodis is seeking a React Developer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. Candidates must have strong expertise in React, Redux, TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies to deliver high-quality, responsive interfaces.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

React Developer Job Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and maintain micro-frontend applications and integrate them with main app containers using Webpack Module Federation.
  • Build and extend reusable UI components and front-end frameworks, ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering, review documentation, and prepare test plans for production rollout.
  • Conduct code reviews and implement quality improvement processes, adhering to best practices and performance optimization standards.
  • Provide technical support for pre-production and production releases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth deployments.
  • Work closely with offshore/onsite teams, guiding them on technical challenges and ensuring timely delivery of tasks and bug fixes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in front-end development with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in React, Redux, React Hooks, TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Proven ability to build scalable micro-frontend applications, optimize performance, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
