Architecture & Platform Ownership
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP), ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Oversee a microservices-based architecture and modern API-first framework to support platform modularity and interoperability with partners and enterprise clients.
- Own the technical standards, system architecture, engineering best practices, and overall technical roadmap.
Mobile-First Product Leadership
- Drive excellence in building and scaling iOS and Android mobile applications, ensuring best-in-class performance, privacy, UX, and security.
- Ensure mobile engineering teams adopt modern frameworks, tooling, CI/CD, and testing methodologies.
Security, Compliance & Data Governance
- Ensure platforms are secure, compliant, and robust, with strong practices around data governance, privacy (GDPR, HIPAA where relevant), and cybersecurity.
- Oversee technical aspects of regulatory and quality frameworks relevant to digital health/Femtech.
Execution & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery, from architecture and development to deployment and ongoing operations.
- Implement effective engineering processes, OKRs, SLAs, and output-driven team performance metrics.
- Develop scalable DevOps and automation practices, including CI/CD, observability, telemetry, and incident response.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Proven leadership experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior technical leader in digital health, Femtech, SaaS, or regulated health tech.
- Deep experience building cloud-native systems on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong background in microservices architectures, API frameworks (REST/GraphQL), and distributed systems.
- Demonstrable success scaling mobile-first products across iOS and Android.
- Experience building and growing high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance within healthcare or sensitive data environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with enterprise integrations (HRIS, benefits platforms, payers, etc.).
- Background working in global or multi-market technology environments.
- Experience supporting commercial functions with technical expertise during enterprise sales cycles
What You Bring
