About The Role:

Liaise between QR IT and QACC, being responsible to understand the business IT strategy of QACC and to translate strategies into IT initiatives to ensure that system landscape aligns with business functions and requirements. Responsible to ensure that all decisions are supported by robust analysis and are aligned with the Corporate IT framework/ guidelines. Analyze all business functions and plans, processes and practices as well as industry trends to make recommendations in quantifiable terms where ERP and other IT system changes would benefit the business.

Accountabilities:

▪ Regularly analyze business IT issues in order to identify areas of innovation and process development.

▪ Lead unit integrated testing of the business applications to ensure that the design objectives are met, including development and test case.

▪ Ensure that IT related projects are implemented in a correct manner by coordinating with QR IT on project priorities.

▪ Improve business capacity and productivity by translating business IT requirements, design and coordinate with QR IT in development of workable JDE and IT system solutions.

▪ Ensure that there is a detailed work plan and needs assessments for each IT project to guarantee successful outcome with QR IT.

▪ Responsible to liaise with QR IT to conduct and review root cause analysis of system issues in order to provide corrective action plans.

▪ Responsible for providing process workflows to QR IT for IT related systems by understanding business control points and process needs.

▪ Responsible to coordinate with internal departments to ensure all system requirements are understood and intimated, liaise with QR IT to conduct UAT and first level business support.

▪ Responsible to translate business requirements into a formal document, e.g., breaking down a failing business process, documenting it with subject data, material and people flows and specific rules enabling it to be understood so an IT solution can be drafted by QR IT.

▪ Provide input to components of development of end user training materials and delivers employee trainings for the JDE and other IT system users.

▪ Create, review and update business SOPs in order to ensure that business systems controls are in place and submit for the Management review.

▪ Compile and maintain reporting for the units required data reports to ensure material control is maintained- management of data reports from the Material Controls Team being set up to manage/audit product cost from goods receiving, through the kitchen production process to dispatch to aircraft. Also reporting on material master data, new, old, off cycle, obsolete and inaccuracies of any data entry. EG Label data, QOMOS menu grids.

▪ Conduct system analysis to ensure that all existing and new system additions both complement and contribute further to the efficiencies of QACC operations and report any gaps to Management.

▪ Recommend where changes need to be made in business process usage to optimize system usage.

▪ Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

▪High School Qualification with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience

Job Specific Skills:

▪ Advanced knowledge of MS office

▪ Excellent organizational and planning skills

▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, command of English Language

▪ Strong influencing and negotiation skills

▪ Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

▪ Able to manage changing and multiple priorities; must be able to manage different assignments simultaneously and have the ability to constantly priorities and re-priories workloads

▪ Able to analyze large volumes of data from different sources

▪ Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, and is able to consistently provide reports/analysis with a very high level of accuracy
