Product Manager (First Product Hire)
Remote (UK based)
£80,000 + package including stock
An early-stage, UK-based technology startup is looking for its first Product Manager to take ownership of a highly technical B2B SaaS platform that applies specialist domain knowledge at scale. The business recently closed a pre-seed round and is gearing up for its first major go-to-market push next year.
You’ll work directly with the founder and a small in-house engineering and domain-expert team to turn complex operational logic into clear, scalable, automated software. The product is already gaining interest across both private and public sector organisations.
This is a rare opportunity to join at a formative stage, own the product end-to-end, and help shape how a new category of software is built and brought to market.
The role:
- Own the product roadmap, strategy, and execution from day one
- Translate complex business and domain logic into structured product requirements
- Work closely with engineering to deliver high-quality, scalable features
- Collaborate with internal subject-matter experts to capture knowledge and turn it into product logic
- Lead discovery, user feedback loops, and early go-to-market thinking
- Set up lightweight processes and frameworks for long-term scale
- Act as the sole product owner initially, with the potential to build the function over time
Background preference:
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS product management
- Comfortable as the sole PM in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong ability to break down complexity and define clear product logic
- Someone who’s been part of high-performance teams and ideally experienced a startup exit or high-growth phase
- Bonus: exposure to automation, rules engines, or data-heavy products
