Test Analyst (Data)

We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join our Data Analytics team to support the team

Experience of testing in data analytics environments eg

experience with ETL testing and validating multiple source databases to target data

warehouse tables data platform datasets

experience with testing BI reporting eg Tableau dashboards excel outputs

Proven ability to define and adapt a test approach appropriate to specific technologies and business

Broad knowledge of test tools techniques and approaches and ability to recommend where and how to use them

Experience working with Product Owners and end users to assure and support UAT

Excellent written and verbal communication able to effectively communicate complex technical terms with nontechnical colleagues

SQL and python data querying languages

Desirable skills and experience

Experience with automating test activities and test automation applications

Experience with Jira Atlassian

Key responsibilities

1 Develop test solutions test plans test cases and execute the test cases

2 Plan and implement testing

3 Test documentation

4 Work with Product Owners and business teams to assure and support UAT

5 Work with Test Manager and Change Management to support route to production

6 Explore options for test automation
