SC Johnson Australia & New Zealand is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Payroll and HR Administration specialist to join our dynamic and results driven team.
Based in Lane Cove West, this is a newly created standalone position, reporting to the HR Manager ANZ, working across our Consumer Brands and Professional businesses.
About the Role:
You’ll manage all Payroll requirements and reporting for entities in ANZ, as well as own the Employee Lifecyle procedure and related actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee Payroll Services across ANZ for all Business entities
- Maintenance and accurate processing of all employee and payroll related information into the Payroll and HRIS systems
- Coordinate and administer all ANZ employee benefit programs
- Provide HR reports and metric data to managers and HR as requested
- Year-End and PAYG payment summary coordination (including Tax declaration submissions to ATO, IRD etc)
- Prepare employee leave reports monthly and quarterly
- Manage the employee onboarding and exit workflow and activities
- Monitor employee data flow and process flows and liaise with relevant stakeholders to coordinate
- Co-ordinate On & Off-boarding processes (employment offer packs, induction schedules etc) for HR team, and Qualifying period process and ensure completion
- Be readily available to respond to employee queries regarding their pay, entitlements, training & general employee data information
- Interact closely with other members of the Human Resource team to ensure seamless delivery of HR operations and payroll services
About You and What You’ll Bring:
To be successful in this busy and varied role, we’re needing someone with the highest level of attention to detail, is process focused and will think outside the box to problem solve.
You’ll bring with you:
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience within an automated payroll environment, running 100+ employee payroll cycle
- Experience using a sophisticated Payroll System as Workday, ADP, or Access Micropay.
- Experience managing payroll projects
- Expert knowledge of payroll tax requirements to ensure that all relevant taxable values are accurately included in payroll tax calculations and reporting
- Sound knowledge of both Australian and New Zealand Employment and Award legislation is highly advantageous
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and information discreetly
- Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities and operating efficiently under continuous change
- Ability to work to deadlines and timeframes with a high attention to detail
- High degree of initiative and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
