The Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking a high-performing individual for the role of Data Analysis Officer. Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Perform data extraction, manipulation, analysis and reporting of driver, vehicle, infringement, road safety camera and road crash incident data in Queensland using established toolchains.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes and other documents in accordance with departmental standards
  • Monitor data request workflow and contribute towards achieving team goals.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
  • A degree from a recognised tertiary institution in data science, geospatial science, information technology, mathematics, economics, or an equivalent qualification would be considered highly desirable but not mandatory for this role.
