About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Pre-Clinical Statistician to support our research teams in designing, analyzing, and interpreting pre-clinical studies. This role will contribute directly to data-driven decision-making throughout early drug development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide statistical input into the design of pre-clinical studies, including sample size calculations, randomization strategies, and statistical analysis plans.
- Analyze data from in vivo and in vitro experiments using appropriate statistical methods.
- Build and maintain statistical models to support pharmacology, toxicology, and exploratory research studies.
- Communicate results clearly to cross-functional teams, including scientists, project managers, and senior leadership.
- Ensure statistical approaches comply with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
- Support development of data visualization tools, dashboards, and automated reporting.
- Contribute to the refinement of statistical methodologies and best practices across the R&D organization.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience applying statistics in a pre-clinical or non-clinical research environment.
- Strong proficiency in R, SAS, or Python (R preferred).
- Familiarity with experimental design, mixed models, ANOVA, regression, and non-parametric methods.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear conclusions and actionable insights.

- Attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
