Job Description

Are you a tech-savvy and analytical problem solver eager to kickstart your career in digital transformation, data analytics, and automation?

We’re looking for a functional analyst to join our Performance Management team based in Brussels, Belgium, and help shape the future of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting.



In this role, you’ll help design, develop, and optimise data solutions for ESG operations reporting using Microsoft tools – including SharePoint, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

You’ll be involved from the ground up and help digitalise our reporting systems from scratch – supporting the end-to-end process: from data extraction and transformation to business intelligence and reporting automation. This means hands-on work with new Microsoft tools to build data models, support their deployment, and contribute to user training. You'll gain valuable exposure to project execution, from early design to final rollout. Throughout, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals in an international environment.

As a functional analyst, you will:

Support the digital transformation of ESG operations reporting through innovative data workflows and dashboards.

Help design, build, and configure reporting tools and automated processes within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Contribute to the maintenance of databases (Structured Query Language (SQL), Dataverse, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2).

Participate in the improvement of existing tools and developing new reporting solutions.

Collaborate with experience internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.

Contribute to agile project activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Type of contract: V.I.E. Please note that V.I.E contracts are only applicable to European Economic Area (EEA) citizens who are between 18 and 28 years old. The position is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Starting date: As soon as possible.

Duration of the contract: 12 months.

Qualifications

Education: Currently enrolled, soon-to-graduate, or recently graduated with a master’s degree in engineering, IT, information systems management, business, or a related field.

Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.

Technical IT knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2) and familiar with SQL. Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or Python is an advantage.

Personal skills: Strong communication skills with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
