Job Description

The Senior Manager of Market Analytics owns the market data and analytics within our Strategy & Product Management unit; analyzes market trends and future scenarios; draws executive level insights from the market development and supports Nokia Technologies business and commercial strategy creation.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Market data model and analysis

  • Designs the market data model and model governance
  • Analyses target market development and creates forecasts on the outlook
  • Researches markets and customer industries
  • Collaborates across TECH to facilitate insight creation
  • Creates executive level decision-making materials based on rigorous analyses

Strategic planning and decision support

  • Analyzes new business opportunities
  • Turns identified business opportunities into robust business cases, i.e. driver-based excel models that combine market data with P&L modeling
  • Contributes to strategic planning and decision making with actionable market insights

Key Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in market analysis and analytical problem solving across multiple industries and markets (e.g. from management consulting)
  • Highly proficient in Excel and SQL with proven experience in building robust data pipelines
  • Proven capabilities in applying quantitative methods to solve complex problems
  • Strong command of P&L modeling, profitability and cash flow analysis, and business case modeling
  • Experience in combining market models with P&L modeling (e.g. as part of M&A or other strategic decision making)
  • Able to handle complex concepts and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English
