What’s the Opportunity
We’re looking for a talented, curious and adaptable Creative Designer to help shape how Daft.ie, DoneDeal and Adverts.ie connect with millions of people across Ireland.
You’ll combine creative storytelling, digital craft and motion design to produce work that’s visually engaging, strategically effective and efficiently delivered. From bold campaign visuals to motion content and experimental AI-driven creative, you’ll bring ideas to life across multiple platforms — helping our brands stand out and drive real results.
You’ll join our in-house Design team and collaborate closely with Marketing, Product and Sales. This role blends creativity with execution — perfect for a designer who loves both dreaming up ideas and crafting them beautifully.
What will I be doing
- Designing High-Impact Campaigns: Create visually compelling digital and advertising assets, from campaign visuals to display and rich-media formats, that communicate our brand story, meet performance goals, and uphold creative standards within tight timelines.
- Video and Motion: Develop motion content that enhances brand storytelling and elevates user and customer-facing communications. Be it through short-form animations, GIFs or video edits that enhance campaigns and enrich our brand.
- Utilising new generative tools: Explore and apply emerging tools and technologies (including automation and AI) to improve workflows and inspire new creative approaches.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Partner with Marketing, Product and Sales teams to understand goals and translate briefs into strong, on-brand creative output.
- Leading Projects from Concept to Completion: Take ownership of design projects from ideation through to delivery, incorporating feedback and ensuring quality execution.
- Championing Brand Consistency: Help maintain and evolve Distilled’s style guides and systems, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across every platform and channel.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in a creative, brand, or digital design role — ideally within a marketing, media, or advertising industry. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Design Craft: Strong grasp of layout, typography, colour and storytelling — with a portfolio that shows variety, impact and digital-first thinking.
- Experience using AI tools: Experience using tools like Midjourney, Firefly, Gamma AI, or Runway for concept generation and creative experimentation.
- Tools & Tech: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) and Google Web Designer. Experience using Figma is a plus.
- Motion & Video: Experience or enthusiasm for animation, GIFs, or short-form video storytelling.
- Collaboration & Communication: A team player who can clearly articulate ideas, respond to feedback, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
