Get ready to

• Work with modern backend tech and help shape a scalable, secure, and reliable e-commerce platform
• Build high-quality backend systems using PHP (Laravel or Symfony) - but we're open to strong engineers with other backgrounds
• Dive deep into complex domain logic, integrations, and performance challenges
• Take ownership, make architectural decisions, and influence how our backend evolves
• Design clean APIs and work closely with the frontend team (React/Next.js)
• Optimize performance, security, and infrastructure reliability
• Collaborate with product, operations, and frontend engineers
• Mentor others, delegate tasks, and help grow our backend team
• Improve development processes and engineering standards across the platform
  
  

We expect you to

• Bring strong backend engineering fundamentals - clean architecture, design patterns, testing
• Have solid experience with PHP, ideally Laravel or Symfony (or be confident you can pick them up fast)
• Be comfortable working beyond your “exact role” and taking initiative across the stack
• Be able to navigate and design complex business/domain logic
• Write reliable tests and follow best engineering practices
• Work autonomously - from system design to deployment and optimization
• Have a curious, open-minded approach and willingness to explore better solutions, not just follow existing ones
  
  

Salary

Gross salary range is 5000 - 7000 EUR/month.

Location

Vilnius, Lithuania: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote. Meanwhile, in Kaunas: onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role.
