We’re hiring a Lead Software Engineer to own the technical direction of our product and guide a growing engineering team. You’ll be hands-on with our most important technical challenges, make pragmatic architectural decisions, translate real business needs into solutions, and help shape the team as the company scales.
What you’ll do
✔️ Lead and grow the engineering team day-to-day - planning work, reviewing code, and ensuring we ship reliable software quickly.
✔️ Collaborate closely with product and business teams to understand goals and turn them into clear, actionable technical requirements.
✔️ Design and build scalable front-end and back-end systems using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Styled Components, Node.js, databases, and APIs.
✔️ Make architecture and tooling decisions that enable rapid iteration while keeping the codebase maintainable and healthy.
✔️ Integrate with key third-party services (payments, authentication, analytics, etc.) and ensure smooth, stable production operations.
✔️ Play an active role in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring engineers as the team expands.
✔️ Improve engineering processes and establish lightweight, practical standards for quality and delivery.
What we expect from you
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
✔️ Solid understanding of front-end testing, maintainable UI patterns, and scalable architecture.
✔️ A leadership mindset - you set direction, delegate effectively, and dive into details when needed.
✔️ Strong ownership - you take projects from design through deployment and ensure they’re successful.
✔️ A maker’s mentality - you prototype, iterate, and ship quickly.
✔️ Responsible independence - you know when to move fast and when to slow down to maintain quality.
We offer a Salary of €3,700 - €5,000 per month, net. + bonuses (based on performance)
