Role and responsibilities
As a BL Apps VDI engineer, you are working in an Agile-DevOps team of engineers that are part of the Developer Services ART. The team is technically responsible for multiple initiatives and changes as well as the execution of different roadmap initiatives in the Developer Workplace area. As a BL Apps VDI engineer you drive these based on your expertise and your enthusiasm to change. You closely align with the DevOps engineers of the team, Technical Lead and Product Owner. Next to that you work closely together with the Infra team within the Train and cross sector with CORE IT and Security.
Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on High Tech products and with complex processes. As BL Apps VDI engineer, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology or similar
- Experience in DevOps activities, preferably in a large and dynamic development organization.
- You have worked with Windows as an administrator
- You have worked in a CI/CD driven organization
- You have worked with automation tools Ansible, Puppet, Artifactory, Powershell
- You have worked with Docker, Azure and VMWare
- You have worked with Splunk and ServiceNow
