You & your role
As a Junior Data Engineer you know the secrets of combining technical skills with a proactive mindset to help shape the future of banking. You will join a team that values openness, learning, and collaboration, working on meaningful projects that contribute to Rabobank’s mission.
Your future team
We are part of FEC Tech and you will have the ability to join us and fight economic crime. You will be part of the Data & Insights team, focusing on delivering insights for systematic integrity risk analysis and risk appetite statements. Our team is continuously enhancing our data models and collaborating with other teams to ensure we deliver the right insights for the bank’s critical processes. You will work in an environment where support, coaching, and teamwork are central.

Responsibilities
Within our Early Career Program, you will have the opportunity to get to know yourself, the field, and Rabobank. The program lasts a total of 18 months. You will start the program in a junior position within one team, participate in workshops and training modules with other juniors, and quickly gain practical experience. Together with others, there is room for creativity and initiative to organize events, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. This way, we continuously improve the program and ourselves! You will easily build a large and valuable network within the bank.

- Gross monthly salary between €3,314 and €4,733 (scale 07)
- Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
- 10% Employee Benefit Budget
- EUR 1,400 development budget per year
- Hybrid working: balance between home and office work (possible for most roles)
- A pension, for which you can set the maximum amount of your personal contribution

Responsibilities
- Support the development and enhancement of data models for risk analysis
- Collaborate with team members to deliver insights and reporting
- Take initiative in learning sessions and proactively seek out opportunities to contribute
- Work with tools such as Databricks and TPT to process and analyse data
- Location: Utrecht, Croeselaan 18
- Contract: fixed term for 40 hours a week
- Starting date: the program starts at the 1st of April 2026, but we’d like to welcome you as soon as possible

You & your talent
- A bachelor or master in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Management/Engineering combined studies and Computer Science
- 0-2 years of working experience
- Fluent in English
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands
