We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to lead the core experience of the Sword Member App. As the central hub for member engagement and retention, the Member App brings together our key solutions while hosting shared features such as chat, profile, and more. This role is critical in shaping a cohesive, user-first platform that supports millions of members in their health journey.
What you'll be doing:
- 1. Lead user-centric research & strategy:
- Advocate for member needs at every stage of product development;
- Conduct research and analyze competitors to uncover insights and opportunities;
- Translate insights into product strategy and actionable design directions
- 2. Design & prototype solutions:
- Turn requirements into intuitive, visually engaging, and emotionally resonant experiences;
- Work in fast, iterative cycles to improve usability and drive retention;
- Validate and refine designs through user testing, data, and feedback loops
- 3. Drive cross-functional collaboration:
- Partner closely with engineering, product, and clinical teams;
- Present design rationales and research findings with clarity and influence;
- Ensure seamless design-to-development handoff and uphold quality in execution
- A passion for creating products that improve people’s health and lives;
- A strong portfolio demonstrating an end-to-end user-centered design process, great examples of brand application on product and micro-interaction sensitivity;
- 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in healthcare, tech, or other complex domains;
- Mastery of Figma and expertise in prototyping;
- Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing;
- Comfort working with data-driven insights to inform design decisions;
- Deep understanding of design systems and atomic design principles;
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally;
- Ability to design and facilitate workshops that align teams and spark collaboration
