Your mission

We are looking for experienced Product Designers to join our growing Matrix42 team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about designing innovative user-centered interfaces that are intuitive and solve complex problems while delivering a delightful user experience. They should also be able to identify and follow the ideal approach in order to empathize with users, identify, define, ideate and design solutions for solving user pain points.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with multiple team roles, including product managers, engineers and stakeholders to identify user needs and translate them into user-friendly design solutions.
• Work closely with your product squad to make sure not only that solutions are implemented as intended, but also that they are feasible from a technical perspective.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and gather user feedback to define and iterate ideas and potential innovative solutions.
• Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups that adhere to design guidelines, best practices, accessibility and usability standards.
• Contribute to the design system and design patterns development, while ensuring consistency and scalability across all Matrix42 products and features.
• Participate in agile development processes, including design sprints, user story mapping and sprint review.

Your profile

Must have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar design position with a strong portfolio showcasing the design process, problem-solving skills and outcomes.
• Perform UX activities including conducting user research, gathering and analyzing feedback, creating user groups and personas.
• Ability to prioritize and connect UX findings with high impact business goals
• Strong visual design skills, focused on building user interfaces for enterprise applications.
• Proficient in any of the modern design tools of your choosing like Figma, Sketch or others.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design thinking, decisions and concepts to team members and stakeholders.
• High-level technical knowledge so that potential limitations can be identified and mitigated early on.

Nice to have:

• Experience working for tech product companies (B2B or B2C)
• Experience of working in distributed teams
