This role is for one of our key clients in the automotive sector, working 100% on-site in Gothenburg.

💻 ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for large-scale automotive systems.

You will work closely with development, architecture, and platform teams, driving best practices in automation, scalability, security, and cloud-native deployments.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy.
• Developing automation and tools using Python.
• Driving containerization strategies using Docker and modern container frameworks.
• Building and managing cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform (IaC).
• Managing Azure services such as ACR, networking, security, and Key Vault.
• Improving platform performance, observability, monitoring, and system reliability.
• Taking ownership of DevOps practices within cross-functional Scrum teams.
• Supporting developers and teams to ensure frictionless, secure, and scalable deployments.
• Leading continuous improvements within DevOps workflows and cloud infrastructure.

👤 WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a senior professional with strong technical foundations, deep hands-on experience, and a proactive mindset.

You take initiative, solve complex problems independently, and enjoy mentoring others when needed.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines with Groovy.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerization workflows.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of Terraform and IaC principles.
• Strong cloud experience with Azure (ACR, networking, security, Key Vault, container services).
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience with Azure Container Apps or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
• Background in large-scale enterprise or automotive environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and governance models.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.
