Job Title: AI Full Stack Engineer

Location: Didam, Gelderland, NL - Hybrid: 2-3 Days to Office Every Week

Duration: 6 Months

Roles & Responsibilities:

he Virtual Assistant project scales a proven prototype into a universal open-source building block framework that allows organizations to combine modules such as orchestration, RAG, guardrails, CMS, and evaluation to build AI assistants, bots, or agents. The AI Engineer focuses on designing, building, and optimizing AI components and virtual assistants within a government or enterprise context. You will combine AI expertise with full-stack software development to create scalable, secure, and documented solutions that are transferable within the organization.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Design, build and optimize AI components and virtual assistants
  • Contributing to open-source building blocks such as orchestration, RAG, guardrails, CMS and evaluation
  • Combining machine learning expertise with full-stack software development
  • Developing scalable, secure and well-documented solutions
  • Ensuring that solutions are production-ready and transferable

Preferred:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in building AI/LLM solutions
  • At least 5 years of work experience with full-stack development: Kotlin/Ktor, Python/FastAPI, Kotlin Compose, JavaScript/HTML
  • At least 10 years of work experience with architecture, integration and secure-by-design

Requirements

  • Demonstrable education at least at higher professional education bachelor level
  • At least 3 years of work experience in building AI/LLM solutions
  • At least 3 years of work experience with full-stack development: Kotlin/Ktor, Python/FastAPI, Kotlin Compose, JavaScript/HTML
  • At least 5 years of work experience with architecture, integration and secure-by-design solutions
