Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician / Specialist who wants to work hands-on with installation, maintenance, and support of PC-based medical and optical systems across the country.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will ensure that Topcon’s PC-based diagnostic and clinical systems operate smoothly for customers across Sweden. You will work both remotely and on site, supporting optical stores, healthcare providers, and ophthalmology/optometry clinics by installing systems, solving technical issues, and ensuring secure and reliable system performance. Installation and maintenance of hardware is also common.

Qualifications

What you Bring

Experience in troubleshooting computers and software is a requirement, experience in Windows Server and network environments is an advantage. Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English is a prerequisite. B-driving license is required as transport and travel on duty is frequent. Knowledge of SQL, information security work, or experience of working with optometric/medical equipment is an advantage.

You work well together with colleagues but are equally comfortable taking ownership when working independently on site. You are a positive, approachable and collaborative individual with a strong service mindset. Flexibility is also key, as the position can involve inconvenient working hours. Our tone is dynamic and easy-going, and we emphasize the well-being of our employees. Your place of residence should be in the Gothenburg area.
