We are looking for a proactive and technically curious Technical Business Analyst to join our Technology Team. This role is ideal for someone at a junior-to-mid level who is comfortable working closely with developers, Test engineers, and DevOps, and who enjoys understanding how systems work end-to-end.
You don’t need to be a developer—but you should be confident in navigating technical details, validating system behaviour, and supporting smooth delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
If you enjoy problem-solving, structured planning, and collaborating with a technical team, you’ll be a great fit.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and task prioritization with the technical team.
- Make sure requirements are clearly understood, testable, and aligned with sprint goals.
- Track progress, identify blockers early, and help maintain transparency across the team.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Translate business needs into structured, actionable tasks for developers.
- Document system behaviours, workflows, and edge cases.
- Prepare or review test scenarios and test data when needed.
- Validate system behaviour by running basic API checks using standard API testing tools.
- Run SQL queries to verify data accuracy, system behavior, and integrations.
- Execute Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) and assist with UAT.
- Conduct regression checks and pre-deployment validations.
- Work with QA and DevOps to ensure that releases are complete, correct, and ready for deployment.
- Validate release content and highlight risks or inconsistencies.
- Maintain clear documentation of requirements, test results, and system flows.
- Contribute to improving internal processes and team rituals.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Operations Specialist, or a similar role in a technical environment.
- Basic-to-intermediate understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Comfortable working hands-on with technical tools:
- Ability to test and validate APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Ability to write basic SQL queries to support investigation and testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and experience working closely with developers and QA.
- Strong communication skills — able to explain concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented; able to move tasks forward without waiting for directions.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Basic understanding of blockchain concepts, digital assets, or financial/transaction systems.
- Previous experience in fintech, payments, blockchain, or related technical products.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in startup or fast-paced environments.
Someone who:
- Likes digging into how systems work behind the scenes.
- Can switch between planning, coordination, testing, and analysis.
- Communicates clearly and proactively.
- Works well in a technical team and takes ownership of their tasks.
