THE OPPORTUNITY - Warsaw office based - 3 days per week with 2 days remote work
The Scrum Master (SM) reports to an Agile Development Manager (ADM), and works closely with the Architecture, Engineering, Design, and Software Development teams as a servant-leader to ensure that software solutions are delivered in the most efficient and professional way possible. The SM facilitates the work of one or more development teams with a view to delivering features and bug fixes on time, to specifications and in a productive and positive work environment.
The SM ensures sprints are organized in advance and that they are rational, transparent, and achievable. The SM works to implement process and policy changes within their teams while collecting a stream of continuous feedback from team members about ways to improve quality, efficiency, and the work environment.
As a facilitative leader, the SM has no direct reports; however, the SM plans the work of a varied team of professional contributors including Engineers, Developers, QAs, SRDs, and TPMs. The SM works closely with the ADM to make and meet sprint commitments and is accountable for those commitments. The SM ensures data is collected about all aspects of the development process to enable later analyses and KPI gathering.
The SM participates in establishing and maintaining a productive, professional, and healthy work environment. The SM works with other SMs or ADMs to coordinate and plan work that spans different development teams.
The SM organizes and leads all sprint ceremonies including sprint planning, DSU, review, and retrospective.
TechInsights provides a rich training environment and allocates time for the definition and pursuit of an Individual Continuous Education Plan (ICEP). Working with management, the SM defines and independently pursues an ICEP aligned with TechInsights current and future needs in this role.
