Your Role:

Our agile product teams are going through exciting changes that involve the design and development of new systems, improving existing systems and working with some of latest technologies available.

We’re looking for a Senior Network & Firewall Engineer that will;

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to network incidents in real time.
• Lead network segmentation, zero-trust initiatives, and secure remote access strategies.
• Manage and optimize network infrastructure including switches, routers, load balancers, and network controllers to ensure high availability and secure data flow.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure integrations across the environment.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, attack vectors, and security technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in both network security and network infrastructure engineering within enterprise environments.
• Proven, practical expertise with enterprise firewall technologies, network security appliances, and general networking equipment including routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network protocols.
• Strong experience with infrastructure technologies including data center networking, switching, routing, load balancing, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in security technologies such as IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN, and endpoint protection.
• Experience managing and supporting physical and virtual network infrastructure in enterprise data centers.
• Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
