About the Role
Magnit Global’s NorthStar HCM team is looking for a Business Consultant level business professional to join our team within a remote capacity.
The individual needs to work well in both an autonomous role and a team setting. We are looking for someone with a desire to learn and enhance their skills, an internal drive to excel, and an interest in developing their career within a fast-paced organization.
The position requires a personable and analytical thinker who is comfortable working with large data sets and can translate that data into a story. The position requires an advanced level of skill with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
What You Will Do
- 3-4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles
- Hands-on experience building and managing end-to-end Power BI solutions, from data ingestion to visualization, ideally within a Microsoft Fabric framework
- Knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Fabric artifacts (DF Gen2, Lakehouse, Deployment Pipelines, Notebooks)
- Demonstrable knowledge of optimizing DAX queries and Power BI models for performance and scalability
- Excellent knowledge of data modelling best practices
- Previous experience in enterprise data platform or digital transformation projects
- 1st generation PBI roll experience (desirable) and implementation
What You Will Need
- A Degree is essential – Computer Science (ideal)
- Experience with Python
- Microsoft Certified (optional: PL-300, required: DP-600 or DP-700 certifications in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric)
- Any additional data qualifications welcome
