Python Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Python Developer to join our technology team within the financial services sector. You will be responsible for building and maintaining software solutions that support core business processes across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications used by teams across the business.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable software solutions.
• Support integration of internal systems with external data sources and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience working with databases and writing basic SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git).
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in a team environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in banking, financial services, or a regulated industry.
• Exposure to REST APIs or basic data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and basic scripting.
