Android Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Application Developer (Android developer) for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally looking for experience with Android Jetpack compose experience preference would be someone with the required skills and experience, particularly in large organizations.

Title: Application Developer (Android developer)

Location: Hybrid - 3-4 days in Toronto, ON

Must have: Jetpack Compose

Note: Android Jetpack compose is must.

Job Description:

• 6+Years of experience required for each skill? 6+
• What type of education is needed for this position? Bachelor
• Android Jetpack compose is must.
• Experience in both Java and Kotlin languages.
• Advance knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, and GIT.
• Strong programming fundamentals, for example, data structures, algorithms, and programming languages.
• Experience with view layouts and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with Android performance analysis tools.
• Experience in Android Lifecycles, REST APIs, Navigation Component, etc.
• Hands on experience with Unit Tests, Integration tests and UI Automation.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Hands on experience with Accessibility related Android components to create inclusive applications.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
