About This Role

Join the Retail Experience (Retex) team as an Intermediate iOS Developer. The Retex team is dedicated to enhancing the Grocery Menu Experience (GME) by building a high-value interface tailored for high-SKU-count retail partners.

This role centers on developing innovative features, as well as integrating with and maintaining existing functionality. You will push the application's technology and architecture forward, utilizing SwiftUI and modern concurrency patterns, and scope new features into actionable tickets to build deep product knowledge within our Scrum model.

Location: Remote Canada

Reporting to: Kyle Jones, Technology Manager, Retail Experience

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Finger on the pulse of the latest iOS/Swift trends.
• Ability to write expressive, readable, composable, and testable Swift code.
• Understanding of the iOS application & view lifecycles.
• Basic understanding of functional & reactive programming.
• Observance of Clean architectural and coding principles.
• Experience with Unit Testing.
• Strong knowledge in SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Knowledge in Swift Concurrency
• Experience with Combine and Async/Await
• Understanding of REST principles and exposure to the backend.

• Demonstrable understanding of Tests, Debug.
• Good verbal communication skills.
