Job Title: Data Scientist

Location-Type: Remote (working EST hours)

Duration: 1+ year (contract)

Compensation Range: $45hr - 55hr

Job Description:

Support the ML team in developing and deploying data science solutions that directly impact customer-facing applications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the ML team to execute 1–2 major data science projects at a time
• Deliver production-ready data science solutions
• Build and iterate personalization and recommendation systems
• Work in an Azure and Databricks environment
• Utilize Python and PySpark for data analysis and modeling

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of experience with Python and PySpark - need to be stronger coder
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Background in Azure cloud environment
• Degree in Data Science or related field
• Experience working in mid-market or larger companies
• Strong collaboration skills and passion for delivering impactful work

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience in the retail industry
• Deep foundation in data science methodologies
