We’re looking for a motivated Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our team.

The project focuses on enhancing core platforms, improving automation, and building reliable, secure, cloud-ready infrastructure to support the organization’s global client base.

You will be working within a large-scale financial ecosystem that spans multiple business domains, including investment operations, analytics, and enterprise-level financial services. The project focuses on enhancing core platforms, improving automation, and building reliable, secure, cloud-ready infrastructure to support the organization’s global client base.
Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or Platform Engineering;
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience migrating large repository ecosystems from GitLab to GitHub (Cloud preferred);
- Strong understanding of GitLab and GitHub architecture, permission models, pipelines, and enterprise structures;
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar);
- Experience with CI/CD systems, ideally ADO 2.0 and/or GitHub Actions;
- Solid knowledge of branching strategies, repository governance, and DevOps best practices;
- Strong communication skills and experience working across multiple technical teams.
- Lead the migration of ~1200 GitLab repositories into the GitHub Cloud enterprise environment (ADO 2.0);
- Conduct detailed assessment and disposition planning for each repository (migrate / archive / consolidate);
- Map existing GitLab hierarchical group structures into GitHub’s flat repository model, ensuring logical alignment;
- Develop and maintain automation scripts/tools to handle migration tasks at scale;
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure compliance and governance;
- Validate and optimize repository configurations, permissions, CI/CD workflows, and integrations post-migration;
- Establish best practices for GitHub Cloud, repository management, and DevOps workflow improvements.
