AI / ML Engineer (Fresher / 0–1 Year Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for passionate AI/ML Engineers from a Computer Engineering background to work on cutting-edge AI-driven drug discovery and advanced research projects.

If you have strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) skills, solid understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning (RL), and interest in Agentic AI, you will be a great fit for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or engineers with up to 1 year of experience to contribute to impactful real-world AI research.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate ML/DL/RL models using Python.
• Implement efficient algorithms and data structures for model pipelines.
• Work on agentic AI systems (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, etc.) a big plus!

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of DSA and problem-solving (LeetCode/Codeforces experience a plus).
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning.
• Good hands-on experience with Python and libraries like NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Willingness to relocate to Vapi and work in an on-site collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI).
• Exposure to drug discovery, bioinformatics, or chemistry data (RDKit, SMILES).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with FastAPI, Docker, or Linux environments.
