Job Description:

Required Skills (Must Have and should meet all the below standards for qualifying to this role)

• Experience with Enterprise networking technology. Experience with LAN Switching, Routing.
• Experience with Cisco Wireless Products - WLC (Wireless LAN Controllers), Access Points
• (AP), MSE, CMX, Prime Infrastructure (PI) etc
• Basic understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a, b, g), 802.1x, Wi-Fi
• Basic Knowledge of Wireless security
• Exceptional communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills

• Desired Skills (Good to have as value add to this role)

- Demonstrated abilities to juggle simultaneous work tasks ranging from system/solution integration to complex technical issues dealing with protocols, Access Points and other technical area

• Experience with Cisco and Third-Party network elements, Routers, Wireless LAN controllers,
• Access Points and network management products desired
• Good knowledge of Cisco CMX, Hyper-location, BLE products/technologies and applications or
• equivalent 3rd party solutions
• Deep troubleshooting knowledge of Wireless Roaming, 802.11r
• Configuration/troubleshooting knowledge of Flex Connect networks
• Configuration/troubleshooting knowledge of mesh networks
• Solid knowledge on AAA protocols (TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, EAP-PEAP & Captive
• Portals, as well as experience working on BYOD & Guest networks
• Foundation knowledge of WiFi 6 is a plus
• Foundation knowledge of the 9800 controller will be a plus
• Scripting skills (Perl, shell-scripting, XML, etc.). Experience with programming to Application Programming will be a plus

Education &/ Additional Certifications

• BE/B.Tech/BSC Computer Science or equivalent
• CCNA is a must, CCNP is a plus, CCIE (Wireless) is preferred.
• CWNA, CWSP (vendor neutral)
