What You Will Do
In the Manager role, you will:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continual improvement of QCAA's analysis, reporting, and quality assurance programs, from project development to the distribution of findings and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance and improvement policies to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all QCAA data sets.
- Lead substantial projects requiring the extraction and analysis of complex data to provide timely, evidence-based advice for various aspects of the Queensland education system.
- Oversee the development and management of the team's internal database to coordinate quality control processes for large-scale datasets, including those used for NAPLAN, Senior Education Profiles, and external assessments.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to the Authority and stakeholders on analysis, reporting, and data management projects.
- Collaborate with internal units and external organisations to address data collection, analysis, management, and reporting needs, and support school performance improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the Performance Analytics Unit, encouraging the development of new approaches to analysis and reporting.
