Senior .NET Developer

Project/Department Overview

For our client active in the insurance sector, we are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Consultant to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications and software programs based on client requirements, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret client requests and constraints related to applications and programs, translating them into technical or technological solutions while estimating the required effort.
• Adapt, improve, and maintain existing programs and applications in accordance with the full development lifecycle (coding, testing, deployment).
• Document all technical activities to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain up-to-date technical expertise within your domain and stay informed about the organization’s technical environment.
• Collaborate with the project manager and technical lead during technical reviews and quality checks.

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies
• Strong expertise in Classic ASP, VBScript, and SQL Server (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of Bitbucket
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, and JIRA
• Java experience is an asset
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Cloud Functions, Power Automate) is a plus
• Understanding of Design Patterns is an advantage
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles
• Experience with AS400 and DB2 is a plus

Education / Certification

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Languages

• French and/or Dutch
• English is mandatory

Onsite Presence

• Location : Anderlecht, Brussels
• Minimum 2 days per week onsite
