Job Description
Are you excited about combining your passion for software development with cutting-edge technologies? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in creating intuitive user interfaces that provide real-time insights? Join our team for a six-month internship, where you'll play a crucial role in building a tool that visualizes the heartbeat of our innovative lab!
As a UI Software Developer Intern, you will design and develop a User Interface (UI) that provides live updates on the lab's status. The interface will visually represent the activities of various robotics systems, their current progress percentage, and relevant KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), such as the number of results or outputs generated.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, tech-savvy individual to learn, contribute, and bring your design and development skills to life in a real-world setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a dynamic, user-friendly UI for monitoring lab activities.
- Develop features to display robot statuses, including their progress percentages in real-time.
- Build real-time KPI dashboards that showcase critical metrics, such as productivity and output results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the interface delivers valuable insights.
- Document and test your work to ensure the software is robust and reliable.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate experience in UI development tools and frameworks
- Hands-on programming knowledge of at least one language.
- Understanding of frontend/backend architecture and APIs for real-time data integration.
- A keen eye for design and the ability to create clean, aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- English is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in developing real-time interfaces for a tech-driven lab environment.
