You'll join a small, highly skilled remote team of engineers and transformation practitioners working at the forefront of enterprise AI.
You'll design and implement backend services, event-driven architectures, and multi-agent communication layers using modern Python, Pydantic, async frameworks, and cloud-native tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, async-first Python backends and APIs (FastAPI or similar).
- Build event-driven architectures integrated with message buses (e.g. Kafka).
- Design and implement data models, APIs, background workers, and services.
- Contribute to AI orchestration systems and our multi-agent meta framework.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern Python best practices (Pydantic, async/await, type hints).
- Work closely with AI engineers and transformation practitioners on cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure backend systems meet enterprise-grade standards for security, performance, and reliability.
- Strong Python skills with a focus on async programming and modern backend development.
- Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalents).
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Good understanding of software engineering principles (scalability, security, testing).
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical rigor, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with multi-agent systems, AI orchestration, or generative AI projects.
- Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Contributions to open-source projects or participation in technical communities.
