About the Role:

We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help shape and scale our software delivery workflows. You will ensure smooth, reliable, and reproducible deployments across multiple products while improving developer productivity and system stability.

Your Responsibilities:

• Standardize and improve DevOps processes and reusable workflows across teams.
• Automate build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Build, configure, and maintain Linux/Gentoo images for reproducible environments.
• Manage artifacts, registries, and software bills of materials (SBOMs).
• Automate system configuration, secret management, and virtual/physical infrastructure using Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana, supporting testing and QA feedback loops.
• Collaborate closely with software, QA, and AI teams to optimize delivery and reliability.

Your Profile:

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, platform, or build engineering, preferably in embedded or on-premise systems.
• Strong Linux expertise, particularly Gentoo (Portage, overlays, ebuilds, kernel/init).
• Networking skills (PXE/iPXE, DHCP/TFTP, TLS, VLANs, firewalls, routing).
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GHCR.
• Scripting and automation: Bash, Python, YAML, Git workflows.
• Fluent in German and English.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Samba/NFS and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of security and compliance practices (signed artifacts, SBOMs, secret hygiene, auditable processes).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
