Financial Accountant - Financial Services

Your new role
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team, working closely with management and stakeholders across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
• Preparing regulatory returns and supporting quarterly reporting processes
• Assisting with audits and statutory accounts preparation
• Driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls
• Building strong relationships across internal teams and external auditors

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (fully qualified) with at least 2-3 years of PQE in industry
• You must have experience working in a similar role in the Financial Services industry - other industries will not be considered.
• Previous experience working in Audit in Big Four or Top 10 practice is a plus.
• Experience reviewing and implementing improved financial control processes in a previous role.
• Desirable: SAP experience and regulatory reporting knowledge
