Your new company
We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation offering innovative solutions within the motor finance sector. This is an opportunity to join a small team in a well-established business that values collaboration, integrity, and professional growth.
Your new role
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance team, working closely with management and stakeholders across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
- Preparing regulatory returns and supporting quarterly reporting processes
- Assisting with audits and statutory accounts preparation
- Driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls
- Building strong relationships across internal teams and external auditors
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (fully qualified) with at least 2-3 years of PQE in industry
- You must have experience working in a similar role in the Financial Services industry - other industries will not be considered.
- Previous experience working in Audit in Big Four or Top 10 practice is a plus.
- Experience reviewing and implementing improved financial control processes in a previous role.
- Desirable: SAP experience and regulatory reporting knowledge
