The Bolt Market Expansion team focuses on transforming the Retail experience in Bolt Food by building strategic partnerships and driving adoption of innovative solutions. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and lead the charge in creating a seamless, engaging experience for customers while enabling growth of our Retail business partners. Please note that this is a full-time employment opportunity. The monthly gross salary for this role ranges from 2,500€ to 3,200€ and will depend on your skills, knowledge, and experience.

About The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in identifying business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving the adoption of our Retail solutions. Reporting to the Grocery / Retail Team Lead (directly), your responsibilities include, identifying, signing, launching and supporting partner operations, and ensuring the success of our partners. You will define and implement strategies around discoverability, monetization, and customer experience, laying the foundation for the Retail sector in the country. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver exceptional results.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Securing new business by defining and engaging with key enterprise leads in the Retail area.
  • Negotiating and closing deals with potential business partners.
  • Acting as the main contact for new business partners, guiding them through the onboarding process, and addressing operational issues.
  • Maintaining ongoing relationship with partners to monitor and support their performance.
  • Define and implement strategies around the monetisation of partners and the approach to discoverability within the app.
  • Prepare and analyze key performance indicators, identifying improvement points, and defining growth and marketing strategies.


About you:

  • You have 3–5 years of experience in Grocery/Retail Business Development, Account Management, or B2B Sales.
  • You have a proven track record of achieving business growth and sales targets.
  • You have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with decision-makers.
  • You are data-driven, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive partner success.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly adapting to challenges with solution-oriented strategies.
  • You act like an owner: managing your own backlog and stakeholders, relentlessly prioritising for maximum impact, and owning and leading data & analytics projects.
