Job Description
Join our small, mission-driven Wix Design System team, where passionate professionals—guided by an experienced Lead Frontend Engineer—work together to elevate each other's careers. Our focus extends beyond developing robust React-based components; we also ensure seamless integration of these solutions across all major Wix products. As a team member, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our architecture, tackling challenges such as theming and scalability to help shape the future of our design system.
Our technology stack includes:
- Work closely with UX designers, software developers and product managers to define, develop and deliver outstanding products
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Wix’s design system library
- Support and evolve a library used by core Wix products, powering approximately 800 consumer projects across the organization
- Build and enhance advanced design system features, including support for multiple themes, themable icons, animations, dark mode and integration with AI tools used within the organization
- Tackle scalability challenges within a library of 150+ components, with a focus on clean, robust React component APIs
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development
- Constantly learning and keeping with the industry standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Team player who is eager to collaborate and brainstorm with your colleagues and partners
