PwC Luxembourg is hiring an HR Data & Operations Support Trainee (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Your mission: We are looking for a motivated student to join our Human Resources team as an HR Data & Operations Support Officer.

This role offers a unique opportunity to explore the HR function through a data-driven and technology-oriented lens.

As part of the HR team, you will support subject matter experts in their daily activities by:

  • Managing and analyzing HR data
  • Supporting recurring administrative and operational tasks
  • Preparing reports and presentations
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and tools
  • You will gain hands-on experience in both operational and project-based HR topics, while developing your technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Be a part of our team where you will:

  • Data & Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HR reports and dashboards (using Excel, Workday, Power BI, etc.), covering topics such as onboarding, probation follow-up, absences (holiday balances, extra leave purchase, sick leave, etc.).
  • Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency across systems such as Workday and internal tools.
  • Support data analysis on key HR topics (e.g. headcount, turnover, diversity, compensation, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to deliver the best possible solutions and continuously improve our reporting capabilities.
  • HR Administration & Operational Support
  • Assist HR experts with recurring administrative processes across various tools including Workday (e.g. onboarding, probation tracking, contract terminations, employee data entry).
  • Support HR experts by providing data and insights in response to internal employee queries.
  • Participate in the coordination and follow-up of both local and global HR initiatives.
  • Communication & Presentation
  • Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations and materials for internal HR use and management reviews.
  • Contribute to internal HR communications (emails, templates, visuals, etc.).
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate HR processes.
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional HR projects based on team priorities.

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program (Business, Human Resources, Data/Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent) and can provide an internship agreement.
  • Available starting in January 2026 for 6 months (minimum)
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with data and tools such as Excel (pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, Power BI and ideally Workday or another HRIS.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Curious, autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn more about HR operations and strategy.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is considered a plus.
